Quick answer
On an LG Smart TV, install a webOS player such as IBO Player Pro from the LG Content Store, note the MAC address and device key it displays, and add your Marinios IPTV playlist through the player developer's website.
LG Smart TVs run webOS. Like Samsung's Tizen, webOS has its own app store, so Android-only players are not available. The good news: several well-maintained IPTV players support webOS.
The setup links your playlist to the TV's MAC address. Once linked, the app loads your channels each time you open it.
What you need before you start
- An LG Smart TV running webOS 3.0 or newer, connected to the internet.
- Your Marinios IPTV activation details.
- A phone or computer to add your playlist on the player developer's website.
Supported login methods on LG Smart TV: M3U playlist URL, Xtream Codes API, MAC address / portal. What's the difference?
