How to Set Up Marinios IPTV on iPhone & iPad — Step-by-Step Guide

Quick answer

To use Marinios IPTV on an iPhone or iPad, install a player such as IPTVX, UHF or Smarters Player Lite from the App Store and sign in with the Xtream Codes details from your activation email.

iPhone and iPad are ideal for watching live sports on the go or catching up on series in bed. Each device you stream on uses one connection while it is playing.

All players below are available in the App Store, so installation is quick and safe.

What you need before you start

  • An iPhone or iPad running a recent version of iOS/iPadOS.
  • Your Marinios IPTV activation details.
  • Wi-Fi or a mobile data plan that allows streaming (HD streams use a lot of data).

Supported login methods on iPhone & iPad: Xtream Codes API, M3U playlist URL. What's the difference?

Recommended player apps for iPhone & iPad

  • IPTVX

Universal app for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.

  • UHF

    Fast, well-designed guide.

  • Smarters Player Lite

The iOS edition of IPTV Smarters.

  • VLC

Free and simple for M3U links, without a TV guide grid.

Install a player

Steps

  1. Open the App Store.

  2. Search for IPTVX, UHF or Smarters Player Lite.

  3. Tap Get and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID or your password.

  4. Open the app.

Sign in and load your Marinios IPTV playlist

Use the details from your activation email. Copy and paste where you can, and keep these details private.

Sign in with Xtream Codes API in the app

  1. Open the app and choose "Add user", "Add playlist" or "Login with Xtream Codes API" (wording varies by version).

  2. Enter any name you like, for example Marinios.

  3. Enter the username, password and server URL exactly as they appear in your activation email, including http:// or https:// and any port number.

  4. Select Add or Login and wait while live channels, movies and series load. The first load can take a minute or two on slower devices.

Load an M3U playlist URL in the app

  1. In the app, choose the option to add a playlist from a URL (sometimes called "M3U URL" or "Load playlist from URL").

  2. Paste the full M3U link from your activation email. Avoid typing it by hand where you can, because a single wrong character breaks the link.

  3. If the app asks for an EPG or XMLTV URL, paste the EPG link from your activation email.

  4. Save and let the playlist download. Large playlists can take longer to load on older devices.

Set up the TV guide (EPG)

The guide normally loads automatically with Xtream Codes. If you used an M3U link, add the XMLTV link in the app's settings.

Common iPhone & iPad errors and fixes

Streams stop on mobile data
Check that the app is allowed to use mobile data under Settings → Mobile/Cellular.
AirPlay shows a black screen
Some players restrict AirPlay for certain streams. Use the player's own Apple TV app instead.
